What is a child scholarship?

Children who live far away from the boarding school and orphans who have no extended families are housed at the boarding school in Asella. A scholarship helps cover the costs for one of these children to live at the school, be fed, get medical checkups, and have all the school supplies they need to be successful.

What if I can’t afford to fully scholarship a child?

Your contribution will go into a pool of funds and joined together with others to give scholarships to as many children as possible. Partial scholarships are a great tool to team up with your friends, families, or company co-workers where individuals can pitch in to amount to the full scholarship.

Will I get to know the child benefitting from my scholarship?

When you donate to a scholarship, Bridge for Life does not give your scholarship amount to a particular child, rather we combine your scholarship giving with the support of others so as many children as possible can receive aid. We will provide statistics on how many children are helped through our scholarship providers’ generous giving.

How does my scholarship help?

$700 per year scholarship will cover room and board plus school expenses which include school materials, uniform, breakfast & lunch, and annual health checkup for one student.
